CENTER FOR INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

International cooperation is an integral part of the activities of the Zhubanov University and is aimed at promoting the internationalization of the university through the development of international relations and partnerships, positioning the university in the global educational space and further integration into the global educational and scientific community.

​

Partners abroad are 125 universities and educational organizations from 22 countries (USA, Europe, Asia and the CIS countries). The University cooperates with 7 best universities in the world ranking (TOP 500), with 5 universities under the Erasmus+ program and with 22 foreign universities on the implementation of the academic mobility program, 13 memorandum have been signed with Turkish universities under the Mevlana programme.

Within the framework of agreements with foreign universities, it became possible to implement international educational and joint double-degree programs, carry out joint research activities, organize scientific and practical seminars and conferences, exchange of teaching staff and develop external academic mobility.

In order to increase the reputation of the university in the academic environment, the university has been actively working for several years to join the QS world ranking. A striking result of our activity was the entry of our university into the international rating QS University Rankings: EECA in 2021, taking 351 positions among the best foreign universities.

The University closely cooperates with the diplomatic missions of foreign countries in Kazakhstan (embassies of America, China, Poland, Turkey, Italy, Korea, Uzbekistan) and the embassies of Kazakhstan in Turkey, Poland.

The University became a member of the Bologna Process and the Magna Carta of Universities; the Shanghai University Cooperation Organization (SCOU); the Association of Eurasian Universities (EURAS); the Association of Asian Universities; the Association of Caucasian Universities (KUNIB) and the Scientific and Educational Consortium of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Kazakhstan.

One of the key areas of cooperation with strategic partners is the development and implementation of joint programs of academic mobility, double-degree education and the involvement of foreign scientists. The program of double-degree education is actively implemented with universities in Poland, China and Belarus. Thanks to the academic mobility program, students and faculty of the ARU have a unique opportunity to go to study at partner universities in Turkey, Poland, China, Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Russia, the United States, and so on. The result of this program is that 6 graduates of the specialty "Physical Culture and Sports" receive European-style diplomas from the University of Economics in Bydgoszcz. 1 Master's student received a diploma of the European standard of the Yanka Kupala Grodno State University in the specialty "Prosecutorial and investigative activities".

An important form of internationalization of higher education is the program of attracting foreign scientists to give lectures, conduct practical classes, scientific and methodological seminars, master classes and round tables. Foreign professors visit our university from leading universities in 15 countries (USA, Canada, France, Germany, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Poland, Estonia, Korea, China, Turkey, Russia, Belarus, etc.).

There are language centers and laboratories: "Confucius Institute", "Korean Language Center", "Polish Language and Culture Center", "Sinology Research Center", "Modern Turkic Language Study" laboratory, "Raphael Santi Interactive Center for Italian Language and Culture", "Polish-Kazakh Regional Center for Safety and Rescue Training", official accredited examination center" TOEFL ITP", Chinese language testing center" HSK " of the Confucius Institute.
